Of British and Egyptian heritage, Edward grew up in Abu Dhabi before moving to the United States for his studies. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at Creighton University in 2000, followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the same institution in 2003.

After qualifying, Edward built his early career in the United States before returning to Abu Dhabi, where he spent the past decade as Senior Neuro Physical Therapist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. His work centred on neurological rehabilitation, supporting patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-neurosurgical procedures, as well as managing long-term conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.

Neuro rehabilitation remains Edward's specialty, and he also treats vestibular and balance disorders, gait dysfunction, and nerve-related pain, as well as the full range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. His clinical work is grounded in evidence-based practice, with contributions to published research in stroke rehabilitation and an international presentation at the World Stroke Congress.

Outside the clinic, Edward enjoys spending time with his family, training at the gym, and making the most of Abu Dhabi's beaches.
